Arsenal are reportedly planning a surprise move for Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling this summer.
Sterling has had another fine campaign for the Cityzens, registering 14 goals and 12 assists across all competitions.
However, his game time has reduced in the backend of the campaign, with Phil Foden favoured ahead of him on the left wing.
This has led to speculation that the Englishman could move on, and The Mail claims that the Gunners could make a shock bid.
Mikel Arteta was credited with transforming Sterling’s fortunes when he was the assistant manager of the Mancunian giants.
He is reportedly keen on a reunion at Arsenal, but it is unclear whether the club can lure him without any European football.
Sterling could cost as much as £75m this summer. Real Madrid are long-term admirers of the England international.
Aside from Sterling, there are rumours that Riyad Mahrez could also be sold despite him stating that he wants to retire at the club.
