Arsenal have no plans of offloading William Saliba on a permanent basis this summer, football.london claims.
The Frenchman signed for the Gunners from Saint-Etienne in 2019, but he was loaned back to the club.
On his return last summer, the 20-year-old was expected to break into the first-team plans, but that was not the case.
Saliba failed to make his competitive debut under manager Mikel Arteta, and he was loaned out to Nice in January.
According to football.london, Arteta was impressed with the Frenchman’s progress during his time with Nice.
His performances will be assessed during pre-season, but the club are unlikely to entertain his permanent exit.
