Belgian midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga has set his sights on joining Arsenal, reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano claims.
The Gunners recently failed with an opening bid worth £13m for Lokonga, and they are expected to make a fresh offer.
Lokonga has already agreed personal terms, and Romano reports that the midfielder is determined to join the north Londoners.
Serie A club Atalanta have made an approach for Lokonga with the lure of playing in the Champions League for them.
However, the 21-year-old has snubbed their advances, and waiting for the Gunners to reach an agreement with Anderlecht.
The Gunners are currently £4m short of the asking price. They plan to negotiate add-ons for the remaining fee.
Lokonga may not be the only midfielder arriving at the Emirates this summer with multiple player exits planned.
