Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has identified Romelu Lukaku as the top target to bolster the centre-forward department this summer.
The Blues recently won the Champions League title for the second time in their history with a 1-0 win over Manchester City.
Tuchel is now keen on strengthening the squad further such that the Blues can offer a serious challenge for the Premier League title.
Lukaku, who was formerly with the club between 2011 and 2014, has been identified as Tuchel’s prime target ahead of the summer.
The Belgian had a superb 2020/21 campaign for Inter Milan, netting 30 goals across all competitions, 24 of which came in the Serie A.
The club won the Serie A crown after 11 years, but soon parted ways with manager Antonio Conte over differences in transfer strategy.
Inter need around £80m to balance their financial books, and it is claimed that Lukaku could be open to a return to the Premier League.
