Chelsea could explore a loan deal for Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann, Spanish publication Sport claims.
The Frenchman had an impressive second season with Barcelona, registering 20 goals and 13 assists across all competitions.
Despite this, he has been linked with a possible summer exit as the Blaugrana need to reduce their wage bill to register new signings.
According to Sport, the Blaugrana are open to parting ways with Griezmann, but only on a temporary basis for next season.
The Blues are long-term admirers of the Frenchman, and consider him as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
Dortmund are adamant that Haaland won’t be sold for another year, and the Blues may look to the services of Griezmann.
Griezmann has also been linked with Premier League champions Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is said to have made contact with him.
