Chelsea are on the cusp of landing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan, Sky Sport Italy claims.
The Blues entered negotiations for the Belgian recently, and they are making progress towards signing him.
Initially, it appeared that Inter won’t sanction his sale, but latest reports claim that the striker could leave the club.
The Blues recently failed with a bid of around €100m plus Marcos Alonso.
It is now claimed that the club will come up with a fresh bid of around €120-130m that will be accepted by Inter.
Lukaku has repeated insisted that he is happy at Inter, but he is now open to making the comeback with the Blues.
He was previously with the west London giants between 2011 and 2014, but barely got the opportunity to impress.
The 28-year-old feels that he has unfinished business at the club, and personal terms should be a formality.
Lukaku could join the Blues before the new Premier League season begins.
