Cowboys win on CeeDee Lamb’s overtime TD vs. Patriots

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Dak Prescott rolled out to his left and heaved a pass to wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Lamb caught it at the 10, racing toward the end zone for the game-winning 35-yard score.

Dallas Cowboys 35, New England Patriots 29.

After 25 long years, the Cowboys had beat the Patriots.

They enter their bye week riding high at 5-1, their fifth straight victory of the season.

As regulation neared its end, it seemed neither team was willing to fold. Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs extended his interception-every-game-this-season streak with a 42-yard pick six to give the Cowboys lead with 2:36 to play. Then, Patriots quarterback Mac Jones hit receiver Kendrick Bourne for a 75-yard touchdown pass with 2:21 left on the clock.
