Transform 2021 is the place to be if you want to take your business data technology and strategy to the next level.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be released on December 7 for the PC, PlayStation platforms, and Xbox platforms, according to Techland.
The game by Techland, situated in Wrocaw, Poland, has been in the works for years and has been delayed, but it’s encouraging to see that it’s still on track for a 2021 release, especially given how many other triple-A titles are projected to be delayed until 2022 due to pandemic delays. The game is about surviving in the current dark ages while battling the zombie horde with parkour.
During the first episode of Dying 2 Know, an in-game video series about the setting of Dying Light 2, Techland opened up preorders for the game. The studio also unveiled a new teaser for the open world game, in which zombies have taken over a major city and humans venture outdoors at their own peril. It is set 15 years after the end of the zombie apocalypse. Aiden Caldwell, the new protagonist, teams up with Night Runners, who can help him fight both light and dark zombies.
There will be a large open world to explore, with numerous personalities, factions, and quests to complete. To get across The City, a vast urban open environment set in Europe, you must use your parkour talents. The map is four times the size of the original and is divided into seven distinct areas. The City is humanity’s last line of defence against the zombie virus, and based on the teaser, The City isn’t doing so well. There will be a lot of fighting.
The game will be released in three different retail editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s. There are three digital editions available: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate. Pre-ordering any edition of the game will get you an exclusive digital Reload Pack, which includes a unique outfit, weapon, and paraglider skin. On the official preorder page, you can learn more about all of the possible editions and their contents, including the luxurious Collector’s Edition of Dying Light 2: Stay Human. It’ll be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
The original game was released in 2015, and more than 20 million people have played it. Aside from parkour techniques, one of the game’s unique aspects was its night and day cycle, which made the animals more hazardous at night. Techland has grown to over 400 employees thanks to the success of Dying Light.
