Mayor Marcia Leclerc joined East Hartford Town Clerk Robert Pasek today, June 1st, to raise the Pride Flag that will fly at the East Hartford Town Hall throughout the month of June in honour of the LGBTQ+ community.

Mayor Marcia Leclerc remarked, “The LGBTQ+ community in the Town of East Hartford continues to play an important role in many disciplines and professions, making major contributions to every part of our unique town.” “The Pride Flag will fly high as a symbol of East Hartford’s commitment to tolerance, respect, and the creation of a welcoming community for all.”

Pride Month is observed every June to honour the LGBTQ+ community’s strength, resilience, and determination to live authentically and freely on a daily basis. East Hartford is proud to be a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive community that fully supports the LGBTQ+ community’s rights, freedoms, and equality.
