India logs 82,332 COVID cases, 4002 deaths in past 24 hours

India on Saturday recorded 84,332 cases in 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 2,93,59,155. In the last 24 hours, 4,002 deaths were registered. The toll now stands at 3,67,081. Meanwhile, the country recorded 1,21,311 discharges.

The death toll surged to 3,67,081 lakh after 4002 Covid-related deaths were recorded on Saturday. Tamil Nadu remains the worst hit city by covid.

This is the fifth consecutive day when the country reported less than 1 lakh new COVID-19 cases.
