England fast-bowler James Anderson reached the exclusive 1000 first-class wickets milestone on Monday.
The 38-year-old veteran reached the monumental feat during Lanchashire’s County championship game against Kent by picking the wicket of Heino Kuhn.
Anderson’s fiery morning spell of five for three in seven overs left Kent reeling at 19/5 when he reached the 1000-wickets club.
Anderson’s Test numbers puts him fourth on the all-time list with 617 wickets from 162 Test matches.
