Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly leading the race to sign West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice this summer.
Rice has been one of the Premier League’s most consistent defensive midfielders, and he is currently on high demand.
Chelsea attempted to sign him without much success last summer, and it appears that they have cooled their interest.
According to The Telegraph, United and City are now the front-runners to sign the 22-year-old England international.
The Hammers are in a strong position to keep Rice, who has three more years on his contract with a 12-month option.
They are not looking into his sale, but would change their stance if they receive a British record fee of £94m this summer.
Rice is currently with the Three Lions for Euro 2020. He is expected to start in the opening group stage game against Croatia.
City and United are likely to monitor Rice’s performances at the tournament.
