Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Raphael Varane from Real Madrid this summer.
The Frenchman has only 12 months left on his contract, and he has declined a new deal with Los Blancos refusing to meet his salary demands.
Hence, he has been tipped to leave the club after a decade, and El Chiringuito have made a sensational claim that he is set to join United.
The Spanish TV station report that United have reached a ‘total agreement’ with Los Blancos to sign the 2018 World Cup winner.
The Red Devils have agreed to pay around £50m for the central defender, who has been one of their long-term transfer targets.
The club initially attempted to sign Varane from Lens in 2011. They made another move to land him during the summer of 2019.
It appears that they have been third time lucky. Varane is up for a new challenge, and United will reportedly pay him club-record wages.
