Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly seemed to be collaborating on a timeless love storey.
On Sunday, May 23, the hotter-than-ever duo was the topic of the red carpet at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, as their unashamed displays of affection—and no shortage of tongue—led to the two trending on social media. Megan wore an eye-catching gown fashioned by Maeve Reilly, and it didn’t hurt that both celebs were showing off a lot of skin.
Machine Gun Kelly, 35, rushed to Instagram after the ceremony to share a photo of the pair posing at home in their awards clothes, although the surroundings didn’t quite match the elegant feelings.
Megan simply captioned the photo of the two smiling on an outside patio, “it’s the broom for me.”
There’s a lot going on in the shot she posted, with MGK poking out his tongue, which was painted black for the occasion, and the two of them interlocking fingers as she leaned against him.
In other words, fans can be forgiven if they don’t see the broom and dustpan in the lefthand corner right away. However, as the adage goes, a couple that sweeps together, stays together. (Isn’t that a saying?)
Following the event, Machine Gun Kelly took to social media to share his thoughts. While carrying his medal and hanging out with Megan in a public restroom, he appeared to be absolutely ecstatic in one video on his Instagram Story.
“Let’s f—king go, guy!” exclaimed the 31-year-old “Bloody Valentine” singer to the camera, evidently pleased with his win.
“WTF!!!” he wrote at the bottom of his post, followed by four prayer-hands emojis.
“My twin soul shows me love,” the musician said during his heartfelt acceptance speech earlier in the night, referring to Megan.
MGK also encouraged the audience to keep doing what they love by encouraging them to share “If waiting for this moment for five, ten, or twelve years had been too long, I would not be experiencing it now. So simply demonstrate to the universe that it cannot take your dream away from you.”
