Princess Beatrice has been photographed for the first time since it was revealed that she is expecting her first child.
The pregnant royal looked gorgeous in a pink leopard print little dress coupled with a trendy black jacket by Maje as she walked out for a walk in west London, just hours after Buckingham Palace confirmed she and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi would be welcoming a baby this autumn, according to photos acquired by Mail Online.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in the autumn of this year,” the Palace said in a statement on Wednesday. The news has been relayed to the Queen, and both families are overjoyed.”
The queen looked ecstatic as she took a stroll with her husband, her gorgeous costume completed by a pair of black motorcycle boots and a small black handbag slung over her arm.
Beatrice put her hair in a relaxed bun and wore minimal makeup for the event, and she looked simply stunning!
In July 2020, the Princess married property developer Edoardo at Royal Lodge Windsor’s Royal Chapel of All Saints. Because of the coronavirus restrictions, they conducted a small and personal wedding.
While the baby will be Beatrice’s first child, her husband already has a five-year-old son from his previous relationship with American architect Dara Huang, Christopher Woolf (affectionately known as Wolfie).
When the royal baby is born, he or she will be 11th in line to the throne, which means Princess Eugenie, Beatrice’s younger sister, will fall to 12th.
