Real Madrid and Barcelona could compete with Manchester United to sign Youri Tielemans, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 24-year-old has made good progress at Leicester City. He scored the FA Cup-winning goal for them last term.
The Foxes are keen to renew his contract, but so far, they have made little progress in handing him a new deal.
According to Romano, the Belgian is attracting lot of interest. Real Madrid and Barcelona have now joined the race.
Manchester United and Liverpool are also long-term admirers of the midfielder, who started his career at Anderlecht.
Tielemans has entered the final two years of his Foxes contract. They may be forced to sell him soon if he rejects an extension.
The Foxes generally hold for a premium price to sell their prized asset, but may struggle to command a high fee for Tielemans.
A mid-season exit appears unlikely. There could be a tug of war to land his signature during next summer’s transfer window.
