Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has emerged as a surprise target for Real Madrid this summer.
The 22-year-old spent the previous campaign on loan with AC Milan where he made 33 appearances across all competitions.
He is expected to return to United for pre-season, but it has been reported that he could be sold for the right price.
Milan are exploring the possibility of re-signing him, but Correio de Manha claims Los Blancos are also interested.
New boss Carlo Ancelotti has earmarked Dalot as the ideal player to bolster the right-back department ahead of next season.
Dani Carvajal has been the club’s regular in the role, but the Spaniard has struggled with numerous injuries in recent years.
United could look to recoup the £18m paid to Porto in 2018. Dalot is not actively eyeing an exit, but would be open to leaving.
Dalot has made only 35 appearances during his United career. He has averaged just 62 minutes per game for the club.
