In their new video for “Leave Before You Love Me,” the Jonas Brothers and Marshmello perform in a subway and on a rooftop at night. Last night, during the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, the collaborators performed their new song live for the first time.
Nick Jonas sits alone on a metro train in the new video before joining his bandmates and Marshmello on the subway platform and then on a roof. He and his brother Joe take turns singing the verses, which reflect on regret and the need to move on before more heartbreak strikes. They harmonise, “Dancing on the edge about to go too far/messing It’s with my head like I mess with your heart. “I’m sorry/Gotta depart before you love me if you wake up alone in the dark in your bed.”
The Jonas Brothers and Marshmello performed the song as part of their 2021 Billboard Music Awards closing medley last night. “Sucker,” “Only Human,” “Remember This,” and “What a Man Gotta Do” were also performed by the band. The quartet will embark on their Remember This U.S. tour this summer, which will kick off on August 20th at Park Theater in Las Vegas. VividSeats.com has tickets available right now.
