The Tampa Bay Lightning said on Thursday that “after securing permissions from local health and government agencies, as well as the NHL,” the team will host “approximately 13,500 fans for the second round” of the playoffs.
The first round playoff attendance at AMALIE Arena was initially scheduled at 9,000 fans.

The Bolts advanced to Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 4-0 win over the Florida Panthers on Wednesday night.

In the second round, the Lightning will face the winner of the Carolina Hurricanes vs. Nashville Predators matchup. The Hurricanes are currently leading the series 3-2. Game 6 will take place on Friday at 9:30 p.m. EST.
